Elevate your kitchen with handmade pottery! In this six-week course, you’ll use both wheel-throwing and hand-building techniques to create functional and beautiful kitchen essentials. From plates and bowls to butter dishes, soap holders, sponge trays, and anything else you can dream up—we’ll guide you through the process of crafting pieces that are both practical and personal. No experience? No problem! This course is designed for all skill levels, with hands-on instruction to help you bring your ideas to life. You’ll also explore glazing techniques to give your pieces a polished, food-safe finish. Whether you’re a beginner learning the basics or an experienced potter looking to refine your craft, our instructors will help you develop techniques to create functional, beautiful pottery. You’ll leave with a handmade collection that’s uniquely yours—perfect for daily use or as a thoughtful gift! Join us at The Wheel House of NH and spin yourself a set! Throughout the 6 weeks, you’ll learn: Centering and shaping clay on the wheel Creating functional pieces such as bowls, mugs, and plates Trimming, glazing, and decorating your creations Essential tips to improve your wheel technique and consistency By the end of the class, you’ll have a collection of your own handmade pottery pieces to take home. All materials, tools, and firings are included. Just bring your creativity (and clothes you don’t mind getting a little muddy)! Duration: 6 weeks, with each class lasting 2.5 hours. Cancellation Policy
Booking, Cancellation, and Waitlist Policy Booking: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot in the class. Early registration is recommended as classes fill up quickly. You will receive a confirmation email upon successful registration. Our full policy on Cancellations, Refunds, and Exchanges can be found here: https://lifetoward.notion.site/Refunds-Exchanges-Closures-and-Cancellations-14d1653845c380968d0ae586c0c310f7 Below is a simplified summary: If you are unable to attend a scheduled session, we will help to reschedule you into another class if you give us a call at 603-368-1017. Up until 24 hours before your upcoming class would end, or 7 days before your multi-week course would begin, you can cancel your reservation for a refund less a 5% processing fee. Please email us to request a cancellation. In the event that The Wheel House needs to cancel a class, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another class. Waitlist: If a class is full, you may join the waitlist at no cost. We will notify waitlisted individuals via email if a spot becomes available. Waitlisted spots are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and you will have 6 hours to respond before we offer the spot to the next person on the list.
