Service Description
Create a collection of wheel-thrown vases inspired by the beauty of spring in this 4-Week Floral Vase Workshop at The Wheel House. Designed for intermediate potters, this class focuses on forming petite to medium vessels and bringing them to life through surface design inspired by organic textures and natural forms. During the first week, you’ll throw and begin shaping your vases, setting the foundation for forms that are both functional and expressive. In weeks two and three, you’ll refine your pieces while exploring carving, texture, and subtle form manipulation to create one-of-a-kind, nature-inspired surfaces. In the final week, you’ll glaze your fired work, adding color, depth, and finishing touches that enhance the details of your designs. A few weeks later, you’ll return to pick up your completed vases—ready to hold fresh blooms or stand beautifully on their own. All materials, tools, and firings are included.
Cancellation Policy
Booking, Cancellation, and Waitlist Policy Booking: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot in the class. Early registration is recommended as classes fill up quickly. You will receive a confirmation email upon successful registration. Our full policy on Cancellations, Refunds, and Exchanges can be found here: https://thewheelhousenh.notion.site/14d1653845c380968d0ae586c0c310f7 Below is a simplified summary: If you are unable to attend a scheduled session, we will help to reschedule you into another class if you give us a call at 603-368-1017. Up until 24 hours before your upcoming class would end, or 7 days before your multi-week course would begin, you can cancel your reservation for a refund less a 5% processing fee. Please email us to request a cancellation. In the event that The Wheel House needs to cancel a class, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another class. Waitlist: If a class is full, you may join the waitlist at no cost. We will notify waitlisted individuals via email if a spot becomes available. Waitlisted spots are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and you will have no more than 6 hours to respond before we offer the spot to the next person on the list.
