Service Description
Bring your garden to life with handmade pottery in this 4-week creative series at The Wheel House. Using handbuilding techniques like pinch, coil, and slab construction, you’ll design and create unique ceramic pieces that add both beauty and function to your outdoor space. Over the first three weeks, you’ll build and refine a collection of garden-inspired work. Choose from a variety of project options such as hanging planters, herb pots, garden markers, lanterns, wall hangings, or small sculptural elements like mushrooms, birds, or other whimsical garden creatures. You’ll also explore texture and surface design to give your pieces an organic, nature-inspired feel. In the final week, you’ll glaze your fired creations, adding color and depth before they head back into the kiln. A few weeks later, you’ll return to pick up your finished pottery—ready to brighten your garden, patio, or home. This class is mostly handbuilding-focused and is open to all levels—no experience needed, just a love for getting creative with clay. All materials, tools, and firings are included.

Cancellation Policy
Booking, Cancellation, and Waitlist Policy Booking: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot in the class. Early registration is recommended as classes fill up quickly. You will receive a confirmation email upon successful registration. Our full policy on Cancellations, Refunds, and Exchanges can be found here: https://thewheelhousenh.notion.site/14d1653845c380968d0ae586c0c310f7 Below is a simplified summary: If you are unable to attend a scheduled session, we will help to reschedule you into another class if you give us a call at 603-368-1017. Up until 24 hours before your upcoming class would end, or 7 days before your multi-week course would begin, you can cancel your reservation for a refund less a 5% processing fee. Please email us to request a cancellation. In the event that The Wheel House needs to cancel a class, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another class. Waitlist: If a class is full, you may join the waitlist at no cost. We will notify waitlisted individuals via email if a spot becomes available. Waitlisted spots are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and you will have no more than 6 hours to respond before we offer the spot to the next person on the list.
