Service Description

Step away from the demands of daily life and spend eight weeks immersed in creativity, community, and clay. Whether you’re looking for a new hobby, a creative outlet, or the opportunity to build lasting pottery skills, this welcoming course offers a relaxed and supportive environment where you can learn, experiment, and connect with fellow makers. Designed for all skill levels, this extended 8-week pottery course gives you the time and space to develop your skills without feeling rushed. Whether you’re brand new to the wheel or looking to strengthen your technique, you’ll receive personalized guidance from our instructors while progressing at your own pace. Throughout the course, you’ll explore: * Centering and wheel throwing techniques * Trimming, shaping, and surface decoration * Strategies for improving consistency and control * Glazing techniques and glaze experimentation With two additional weeks built into the course, you’ll have more time to practice forms, refine your work, explore creative ideas, test glazes, and fully enjoy your 25 lb. bag of clay. The extra time allows students to gain confidence, build muscle memory, and create more finished pieces. Students often create mugs, bowls, planters, serving dishes, pitchers, vases, plates, nesting bowls, and so much more. All materials, tools, firings, and clay are included—just bring your creativity (and clothes you don’t mind getting muddy)! Class Details * 8 Weeks * 2 Hours Per Week * 25 lb. Bag of Clay Included Come slow down, get your hands dirty, and experience the satisfaction of transforming a lump of clay into something beautiful and functional.
