Service Description
Whether you're returning to the wheel, exploring hand building, or deepening an existing practice, Self-Guided Studio gives you dedicated time in the studio to work at your own pace alongside fellow makers. Join us for eight weeks of independent, creative studio time with a staff member on hand throughout each session. Sessions run every Tuesdays from 10 AM – 2 PM over 8 weeks — drop in anytime during that window and stay as long as you'd like in that window. Registration is $280 for the full session. This offering is open to anyone with some prior clay experience — since there's no formal instructor, come with a project in mind or simply ready to explore. Clay is available for purchase at $30 for a 25 lb bag, with four options to choose from: Laguna B-Mix Laguna #45 Laguna #50 Laguna Terracotta. Please note that clay storage is not provided — you'll take your bag home with you each week. A small board will be available to store your work in progress between sessions. Firings are billed separately at $10 for bisque and $20 for glaze per 8" x 16" board — everything that fits on one board counts as a single firing. For glazing, you're welcome to use our six in-studio ClayScape colors or bring your own — just make sure it's a Cone 5 glaze. Some prior clay experience is recommended — this is a self-guided session without formal instruction.

Cancellation Policy
Booking, Cancellation, and Waitlist Policy Booking: Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot in the class. Early registration is recommended as classes fill up quickly. You will receive a confirmation email upon successful registration. Our full policy on Cancellations, Refunds, and Exchanges can be found here: https://thewheelhousenh.notion.site/14d1653845c380968d0ae586c0c310f7 Below is a simplified summary: If you are unable to attend a scheduled session, we will help to reschedule you into another class if you give us a call at 603-368-1017. Up until 24 hours before your upcoming class would end, or 7 days before your multi-week course would begin, you can cancel your reservation for a refund less a 5% processing fee. Please email us to request a cancellation. In the event that The Wheel House needs to cancel a class, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another class. Waitlist: If a class is full, you may join the waitlist at no cost. We will notify waitlisted individuals via email if a spot becomes available. Waitlisted spots are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, and you will have no more than 6 hours to respond before we offer the spot to the next person on the list.
